Isla has now a place in agility group that me and my father coach. Her first competition after long long time will be tomorrow in Kotka. Lets see how she does. We had a small incident with see-saw last monday and she got scared. We practised with her home multiple times the whole week and now it is ok, but I have no idea if she will be brave enough to do it in a new place with sounds and people. I would be satisfied if she would reach the finishing line and didn't run away from the course. I just need to remember to be supportive and if it looks like she doesn't want to do some obstacle, then I just need to move forward and keep on going. Good experience for the dog is the most important thing in the beginning, not the result. Isla's son and daughter will also go with us to Kotka. Her daughter Odette will also participate in the competition in the small class. Isla instead is in medium and both are still in class 1. Will be interesting to see which one will be the first to go to the second class! Long way to think about that yet though, so lets try to do our best and reach small goals and then move forward to the bigger ones.
